Small article for a short day 21/10

This morning I encountered a surprising neighbour, chilling on top of the wall. I did hi to her then went to do my business and eat my breakfast. I left saint sauvant at around 8 am.

The landscape and the nature were beautifully I enjoyed some stargazing since it was still dark when I left. 
The sun was shining it was a nice walk. However I felt like my body was getting tired.


I arrived at my place to stay around 3 pm. I have a reallyblong walk tomorrow and I think I will take a break afterward because I am not sure my tendons can handle more.

 Today was the day of the big departure. It was with a touch of nostalgia that I left Tours and its friendly inhabitants. I left the city at 7 a.m., followed the Cher in the dark of night, passed through a residential area, and finally arrived at the edge of the forest. Here, the world transformed. Blue Tuesday 15/10

T he morning started off rather difficult. Between the sleepless nights, the hand-washed laundry that got a little damaged and didn’t seem clean, and the pouring rain outside, I had to pack my things in garbage bags. I also had to urgently modify my reservation for the next accommodation, as it was initially booked for November. Some days are just like that... But you have to keep moving forward. That morning was particularly exhausting. After the city and its suburbs, the beautiful mystical forests, and the sun, the gloom hit both the sky and my mood. I found myself crossing a void: vast, arid, and dull plains, with the rain pounding on my poncho. And then came the thoughts I didn’t want to have, the ones I tried so hard to repress by seeing people, by staying busy, filling in the gaps. But here, I was surrounded by solitude and emptiness. Strange encounters and cheating 23/10

Today was a day full of strange encounters. Before leaving Aulnay, I went to the local pub and sat, as usual, at the counter. And, as usual, the locals started talking to me about the walk and their lives in general. For some reason, people enjoy talking to me, maybe because it’s rare to find someone truly interested in you. That was confirmed since none of them asked me any questions. But anyway, an eccentric lady stayed with me; she was the local flower seller. I learned that she met her husband when she was fifteen in the area. Then they lived near Paris but returned because he wanted to. They don’t share any hobbies or passions, and she’s sad about it. They have two kids: a 16-year-old daughter who  recently learned how to ride motorcycles and went for a ride last weekend.
